You Gotta Know When to Hold 'em

I have a little bit of catching up to do since I haven't had Internet connection for 7 days... whoofta! (That means something in Minnesotan, I swear!) :)

April 12-14 we spent in the Sundance RV Park with my Grandpa Earle. We played lots of cards (I lost everytime), spent time at the pool, and we had a wonderful time. Here are the pictures I promised. Most importantly this THANK YOU goes out to Gramps who took very good care of us during our stay and our new friends Wayne and Diane, whom we met at the park and let us borrow their cable cord and helped with a shortcut when we departed. It's so much fun to be able to see family and meet new friends along the way. We love you Gramps! See you in July!

Outhouse Poem

Along our travels, we encountered numerous outhouses, so one night while we were in Canada somewhere, sitting at the campfire Matt and I wrote this poem...

Some are gross, while others are nasty,
These little toity houses are never fancy.

We share the space with little bugs,
but you can't think of them when you're saying your "ughs".

Always remember to bring your own paper,
As a spidy web doesn't work well as a scaper.

And keep a knee propped up on that door,
In case a stranger walks in and sees your drawers.

Be careful when you wipe so you don't loose a ring,
Only know you'll never get down there to get that thing.

Never look down whatever you do,
It does you no good to see all that poo.

It's strange to think of that gigantic pit,
As a way to read a magazine and take a s**t.

They don't just stink, they have a distinct pungent aroma,
But when you gotta go, you gotta go-a!
