What a great trip to good ol' Las Vegas! We had time to camp out in a dry lake bed outside of Henderson, ride the toys, and spend some fun times with our great friends, Adam, Kayli, Connor, and Karen. We used the dutch oven (Thanks to Mike & Kelly!) and made biscuits and cinnamon rolls. You can see that the first batch was burnt to a crisp, but we managed to eat the tops which were delicious!!!
Adam, Kayli, and Connor were nice enough to let us make a mess out of their house for the past 5 days, do our laundry, and eat their food. On the 2nd night here, the guys stayed out and camped, while Kayli, Connor and I came back and watched movies and hung out. While the guys were being guys, they managed to have fun on the quad & motorcycle (got a flat tire, but Matt fixed it), but also to do fire-jumping (never heard of it? check out the pictures - huh?) and Adam ended up busting his knee and is now on crutches. That would be the wounded. We wish you a quick recovery, Adam!
Last night, Matt and I had a fabulous dinner with Karen at her place. We drank plenty of margaritas (thanks to Karen's fantastic ability to create the BEST margaritas in the world) and catch up on all sorts of crazy stories.
Good friends, good times, and we're happy to have had time to spend with these guys. Thanks to all of you for your hospitality and great eats. We appreciate you all - it's awesome to have such great friends!!!

Looks like tons of fun in NV, what is next on the agenda? I was looking at your first couple of posts and visiting Adam is the last thing you had on there. Any new updated plans?
Ben
Hey Ben!
Heading to Lake Havasu, AZ next (for 2 days), then to Yuma, AZ (2 days), then to Casa Grande, AZ (2 days to visit my Grandpa). After that, back over to California City for a 4-Wheeler event and then to Palm Springs for a week. Should be a fun couple of weeks. Not sure when I'll have email, but I'll check when possible. Take care & thanks for keeping an eye out for us. :)
Dear Holly, Matt, Bailey and B.B. -You know west is best! Thanks for all the great pics and adventure updates!

Fire jumping = stupid.
I hope you learned your lesson :-)
Matt: fire jumping= awesome dude!!!
great pic! the only thing that would have made the fire jumping better would be full body paint and a loin cloth............... uhhh, on second thought nix the loin cloth... ewwwwwwww.
Holly, you look like a natural cook with the dutch oven. There is hope for you yet! karen looks good, glad you both had a good time with her.

Hi all!!! Yes, fire jumping is quite the sport but if it weren't dangerous, why would guys do it? I think Adam and Matt now know that they aren't 18 years old any more. :)
Cristina - YES! I heard from Melissa. Thanks. Also, I'll email you in Spanish soon (may be simple, but you can respond, OK?)
Kirk - GREAT to hear from you! We have been wanting to know where you are... if you're in the Lower 48, tell us where as we'd love to see you. Yes, relaxing, doing great.
We're in Casa Grande, AZ right now and it's perfect weather. Staying at Grandpa Earle's beautiful RV resort and enjoying the sunshine and pool. Will update more later.
