Yes, there it is! A close-up of a caribou (they spell it cariboo in Canada), a mountain goat and Matt wading in a hotspring. The caribou were literally running down the middle of the road and took a while for them to figure out how to move out of the way, but the mountain goats were quietly eating the gravel off the side of the road. They didn't care we were there at all and I should've jumped out and taken one for a ride now that I think about it.
We camped at Liard Hotsprings Campground and walked the wooden path to the hot springs. They were not in a man-made pool but left out in its original natural setting with gravel bottom, mud sides, and surrounded by beautiful trees. It was SUPER hot on one side so we started on the "cooler" side, and moved over when we could stand it. The water was crystal clear with a tint of aqua and it smelled a bit sulferic, but it was neat to do.
